Roberto Rivera Padró is an independent artist & comic book creator, based in Austin, TX.

He has studied & created art, in some form or another, all his life but his goal was to create comics for a living. In 2019 he published his flagship title, Carlos the Kaiju Killer.

Creating that first issue challenged him in ways he never expected and the reception it received encouraged him to keep creating. It also allowed him the opportunity to work on projects with other incredible indie writers & artists.

He worked with IDW on Spectreman, Space Godzilla, Godzilla Rivals, & Godzilla Ruler of Earth. With the help of his incredible team, Combustible Monkey Comics was created, as well as 4 additional issues of Carlos the Kaiju Killer, and 2 additional titles: Gold Dragón, and RX: Heal Thyself.
